Petrol Oil & Gas, Inc (PETROL) is a publicly traded (POIG) oil and natural gas exploration and development company currently managing mineral holdings in Eastern Kansas. As of Jan. 1, 2007, PETROL’s operations include ongoing and developing production leases in Allen, Bourbon, Coffey, Greenwood, Neosho and Wilson counties in Eastern Kansas. The company focuses on both natural gas production and oil well development. Petrol is the owner-operator of the Petrol – Neodesha project which numbers 102 gas production wells and 60 miles of gas gathering infrastructure via its positioning within the Western Interior Basin (Coal Bed Methane) of Eastern Kansas. Other gas production includes 8 sand gas production wells. As part of its oil development program, PETROL currently leases 42,000 acres and has a working interest in approximately 700 acres in Coffey County.
